Join our team as a Data Engineer, where you will be instrumental in shaping our data landscape. You will design, develop, and maintain robust data solutions, focusing on data generation, collection, and processing.

Your core responsibilities will involve building efficient data pipelines, ensuring the highest standards of data quality, and implementing effective ETL processes. This role is crucial for seamless data migration and deployment across various systems, directly impacting our data management efficiency.

Key responsibilities include optimizing SPL search queries and crafting comprehensive Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts. You will create lookup tables, validate logs, and perform field extraction using delimiters and regular expressions.

Further tasks involve connecting database and infrastructure data to Splunk, fine-tuning search performance, and working with complex dashboards and large datasets. Experience with Splunk UI, integrations like CMDB, Service Now, Slack, and MS Teams is valuable.

You will configure data inputs via REST API, Scripts, and HTTP Event Collector (HEC). Developing custom Splunk apps and add-ons to enhance platform functionality is expected. Additionally, managing Splunk indexes, performing data grooming and archiving, and providing technical support are integral parts of this role. Staying updated with new Splunk features is essential.

A strong command of Splunk is a mandatory requirement for this position. Solid understanding of data modeling and database design principles is also essential.

Candidates should possess experience with ETL tools and processes, alongside familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks. Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and data manipulation is beneficial.

Awareness of retail e-commerce industry monitoring best practices is desirable. The ability to collaborate with stakeholders to identify use cases and design relevant Splunk dashboards is key. Excellent written and oral communication skills, proficiency in MS Office, and a positive, eager-to-learn attitude are also expected.
