As an Agentic Data Cloud Sales Specialist, you'll be at the forefront of Google Cloud's data and AI expansion. Your mission will involve securing new clients and uncovering untapped markets. Collaborating closely with Field Sales Representatives, Customer Engineers, and Partners, you will implement joint Data+AI strategies to foster long-term data platform standardization. Mastering value-selling techniques, you will engage with key business leaders, including CDOs, CAIOs, and CFOs, to pinpoint critical challenges, develop compelling business cases focused on ROI and TCO reduction, and clearly articulate the business value of modernizing data infrastructures on GCP.

Achieve and exceed sales quotas and strategic growth objectives. Proactively drive net-new greenfield customer acquisition and workload expansion within existing accounts through targeted campaigns.

Manage intricate, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial discovery and value hypothesis formulation to the development of ROI business cases and final commercial closure.

Engage senior business leaders, including Chief Data Officers, Chief Financial Officers, Chief Marketing Officers, and Chief AI Officers, by demonstrating the quantifiable business outcomes achievable with modern data and AI capabilities.

Collaborate across teams with Field Sales Representatives and partners to execute joint Data+AI initiatives, promoting platform standardization and co-selling opportunities.

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required. You should possess at least 7 years of experience in quota-carrying enterprise sales roles.

Demonstrated experience in building business cases through workshops or product demonstrations for business executives is essential. Furthermore, experience in developing partnerships with technical stakeholders such as Enterprise Architects, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists is crucial.

Proven experience in positioning and selling technical solutions within the domains of data management, analytics, infrastructure, or AI/ML is necessary.

Preferred qualifications include experience positioning modern cloud data platforms, lakehouses, real-time streaming, or Generative AI platforms against legacy or proprietary enterprise systems. Experience closing large-scale data and AI transformation agreements within specific regulated or high-growth enterprise verticals like Financial Services, Healthcare/Life Sciences, Retail, or Manufacturing is highly advantageous.

Experience working with Global System Integrators, hyperscalers, or Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to co-sell and accelerate pipeline development is a plus. A practical understanding of how modern cloud architectures, robust data governance practices (including cataloging, lineage, and compliance), and well-maintained data estates empower AI and real-time analytics is also beneficial.
