Join AWS Infrastructure Services to operate and maintain global data centers, ensuring continuous innovation for our customers. This role supports Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) by managing critical mechanical and electrical infrastructure across Indian data centers.

This position requires broad data center knowledge and subject matter expertise, with opportunities in multiple Indian locations to be discussed. You will play a key role in the hands-on management of critical facility operations.

Oversee all data center changes, events, incidents, and problems, driving investigations and root cause analysis. Ensure maintenance and repairs of electrical, mechanical, and fire suppression systems are managed effectively for business benefit. Manage asset and inventory, and develop comprehensive standard operating procedures, emergency response plans, and technical documentation.

Develop and deliver engineering reports, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs. Provide hands-on facility support for equipment installations, decommissioning, and audits. Oversee technical compliance and manage the closure of corrective action plans.

Manage information flow during incidents, providing regular updates to management. Review incident reports, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.

Possess at least 4 years of relevant experience in data center or critical environment operations. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, is essential.

Preferred qualifications include extensive experience with critical data center electrical systems such as UPS, generators, and switchgear, as well as mechanical systems including chillers, cooling towers, and HVAC.

This role demands 24x7 on-call availability, scheduled weekend work, and participation in rotational shifts. The specific work location within India will be discussed during the hiring process.
