As a Data Centre Engineering Operations Engineer, you will be the primary operational point of contact for Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) data centers. Your role will encompass hands-on management of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) critical infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and maintenance. Key responsibilities include managing changes, incidents, problems, and events from initiation to resolution, including root cause analysis. You will also oversee asset and inventory management, develop crucial documentation like SOPs and emergency response plans, and ensure adherence to contracted deliverables, SLAs, and KPIs. Providing hands-on facility support and overseeing technical compliance auditing are also vital aspects of this position.
We are seeking a professional with at least 4 years of experience in data center or critical environment operations. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with a broad range of data center knowledge, particularly in mechanical and electrical systems such as UPS, generators, chillers, cooling towers, and SCADA systems, is highly preferred. Familiarity with mission-critical facilities and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this role.
