Amazon is expanding its Data Center management team in India, seeking individuals with broad data center knowledge and specialized expertise. This position within Amazon Data Services India Private Limited (ADSIPL) is crucial for the operational excellence of our data centers across India. The exact location will be discussed, with potential opportunities in multiple Indian cities.

Take full ownership of data center changes, incidents, and problem resolution, including root cause analysis and follow-up actions. Oversee the planning and execution of maintenance and repairs for critical electrical and mechanical systems, fire suppression, and IT infrastructure. Manage asset and inventory, develop operational procedures, and ensure compliance with best practices. Create and deliver engineering reports, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs. Provide hands-on support for equipment installation, decommissioning, and audits, and oversee technical compliance.

Manage information flow during incidents, provide regular updates to management, and conduct trend analysis for recommended actions. You will also be responsible for relationship management with landlords, vendors, and internal teams.

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience. We are looking for candidates with experience in data center engineering and operations. You should be comfortable with 24x7 on-call duties, scheduled weekend work, and rotational shifts.
