As a Data Centre Operations Technician, you will be the primary point of contact for both internal teams and external service providers. Your core responsibilities include maintaining data center infrastructure, performing server rack installations, and executing hardware break-fix tasks.

You will troubleshoot network issues, respond to urgent operational situations, and manage trouble tickets within defined SLAs. The role involves on-call duties for scheduled maintenance and change management, along with participating in team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement. You will also contribute to root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.

Tasks may involve working in compact server environments. This position requires participation in a 24x7 shift rotation, ensuring continuous support for our critical infrastructure.

We are seeking individuals with at least two years of experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair, coupled with over one year of computer networking experience. A Bachelor's degree is required for this position.

Key activities include supporting data center infrastructure equipment like racks, servers, networking devices, and components. You will follow ticket-based instructions for systematic problem resolution and perform routine hardware operations, including rack installations and server break/fix.

Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving is essential. The role requires meticulous site management and maintaining operational area tidiness. Working within compact server enclosures is a part of the job, and flexibility for 24x7 shift rotations is necessary.
