As a Data Centre Operations Technician at ADSIPL, you will be a key member of the team responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of our data center infrastructure. Your duties will include server rack installation, hardware break-fix across various components, and troubleshooting network issues.

You will also be tasked with responding to emergent situations impacting operational stability, acting as the first point of contact for hardware troubleshooting and technical issues. This role involves working within a ticket-based environment, meeting SLAs, and performing systematic problem resolution for hardware and spare parts, including rack installations and decommissions.

The position requires participation in on-call duties and 24x7 shift rotations, handling scheduled maintenance and change management activities. You will contribute to root cause analysis for operational issues, improve data center processes, and potentially assist in training junior team members. Maintaining tidiness in operational areas is also part of your responsibilities.

We are looking for candidates with a solid understanding of server hardware and components, along with knowledge of fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment, and troubleshooting methodologies. A minimum of 2 years of experience in data center operations is required.

Preferred qualifications include experience working in a colocation data center facility, proficiency in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair, and familiarity with networking concepts.
