As a Data Center Operations Engineer, you will be the main point of contact for internal customers, tackling diverse daily challenges.

Key responsibilities include: - Troubleshooting advanced hardware issues for servers, storage, and networking devices on a 24/7 basis. - Ensuring high levels of system reliability and availability. - Contributing to projects that boost operational efficiency and sharing expertise with a global network of technical professionals. - Mentoring less technical staff on best practices for service owner issues. - Participating in the Amazon hiring process, including candidate interviews, to help build a strong team.

The role involves hands-on daily activities: - Installing and configuring data center servers and network systems. - Performing installation, troubleshooting, and replacement of internal and external hardware components for servers and network devices. - Working within a ticket-based system to systematically resolve problems. - Adhering to a rotational shift schedule to maintain optimal system reliability. - Collaborating with internal teams to share insights and drive innovative projects for improved data center environments and efficiencies.

This is an active role requiring consistent movement within the onsite data center.
