As a Data Center Technician in our expanding Infrastructure Operations team, you will be instrumental in designing, installing, and maintaining the world's largest computing infrastructure. This role involves systems repair, issue resolution, parts management, and essential data center maintenance, shaping the future of technology in the region.

As a Data Center Operations Engineer, you will be the main point of contact for internal customers, tackling diverse challenges daily. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting advanced hardware issues on servers, storage, and networking devices 24/7, ensuring high system reliability and availability. You'll also contribute to projects that enhance operational efficiencies, sharing your expertise with a global network of technical professionals and assisting in training less technical staff. Additionally, you will support building a strong team by participating in the Amazon hiring process and candidate interviews.

This physically active role requires daily engagement with data center servers and network systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. You will perform hardware part installations, repairs, and replacements within a ticket-based system, systematically resolving problems. Working on a rotational shift schedule is essential for maintaining high system reliability. Collaboration with internal teams to share ideas and contribute to innovative projects aimed at improving the data center work environment and overall efficiencies is highly valued. Basic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with proven experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
