Design, implement, and maintain scalable Linux server infrastructures, focusing on reliability. Perform comprehensive system monitoring, diagnostics, and performance optimization. Configure and manage network hardware, including switches, routers, and complex cabling systems. Develop and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery strategies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless technological integration.
You will be the main point of contact for internal customers, addressing technical issues on advanced hardware 24/7, including servers, storage, and networking devices. Maintain high system reliability and availability. Participate in projects to enhance operational efficiencies and share knowledge with a global network of technical experts. Assist in training less technical staff on best practices and contribute to team building by participating in the hiring process.
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Demonstrate experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.
Further enhance your candidacy with experience in customer interaction during problem resolution and performing efficiently under pressure. Familiarity with managing work and priorities through a ticketing system is beneficial. Expertise in cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies, along with hands-on experience in a data center environment (racking and stacking gear, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment), are preferred qualifications.
