As a Data Centre Operation Technician, you will maintain and upkeep critical data center infrastructure. Your duties will encompass server rack installation, hardware break-fix, network issue troubleshooting, and responding to urgent operational stability incidents. You'll serve as a key contact for internal teams like Network Engineers and Software Developers, as well as external partners such as hardware vendors and contractors.

You will work diligently to meet SLAs for assigned trouble tickets, acting as the primary contact for hardware troubleshooting. This role involves participating in 24x7 shift rotations, handling scheduled maintenance, and managing change activities. You will also contribute to team meetings for metric analysis and goal achievement, ensuring adherence to departmental policies and security procedures. Documentation of technical issues through root cause analysis and contributing to process improvements are also key aspects of this position.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair is required, complemented by at least 1 year of computer networking experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary for this role.

Preferred qualifications include demonstrated experience in effectively handling customer interactions during problem resolution and maintaining efficient operations under pressure. This role may involve tasks within compact server and equipment enclosures and requires participation in 24x7 shift rotations.
