As a Data Center Technician, you will serve as the primary point of contact for internal customers, addressing diverse daily challenges.

Key responsibilities include: - Troubleshooting advanced hardware issues across servers, storage, and networking on a 24/7 basis. - Maintaining exceptional system reliability and availability. - Participating in projects to boost operational efficiency, sharing expertise with a global network of technical professionals. - Mentoring less technical staff on best practices for service owner issues. - Contributing to team building through involvement in the Amazon hiring process and candidate interviews.

A typical day involves: - Installing and configuring Data Center Servers and Network systems. - Performing installations, troubleshooting, and replacements of internal and external hardware for Servers and Network devices. - Managing tasks within a ticket-based system to ensure systematic problem resolution. - Working on a rotational shift schedule to guarantee high system reliability. - Collaborating with internal teams to share ideas and drive innovative projects that enhance the Data Center work environment and overall efficiencies. - Engaging in a physically active role that requires constant movement within the onsite facility.
