Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable Linux-based server infrastructures. Conduct comprehensive system monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tuning.
Configure and manage network hardware, including switches, routers, and intricate cabling systems. Develop and maintain robust backup and disaster recovery strategies.
Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless integration of technology. Troubleshoot technical issues on advanced hardware like servers, storage, and networking devices 24/7, maintaining high system reliability and availability.
Participate in projects to improve operational efficiency, sharing knowledge with a global network of technical experts. Help train less technical staff on best practices and contribute to team building through involvement in the hiring process.
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required. Proven experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair is essential.
Preferred qualifications include demonstrated ability to handle customer interactions effectively during problem resolution and perform efficiently under pressure. Experience managing tasks and priorities using a ticketing system is beneficial.
Familiarity with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies is a plus. Prior experience in a data center environment, including tasks like racking and stacking equipment, cable management, and understanding hot/cold aisle containment, is highly valued.
