As a Data Centre Operations Engineer, you will serve as the primary point of contact for internal customers, addressing a wide range of technical challenges daily.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting advanced hardware issues on servers, storage, and networking devices 24/7, and maintaining exceptional system reliability and availability.

You will actively participate in projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, sharing your expertise with a global network of technical professionals.

Additionally, you will contribute to team development by assisting in the Amazon hiring process and conducting candidate interviews, while also sharing knowledge and training less technical staff on best practices.

A typical day involves installing and configuring data center servers and network systems, along with troubleshooting and replacing internal and external hardware components.

You will operate within a ticket-based system, systematically resolving problems and working on a rotational shift schedule to ensure consistent system reliability.
