Join AWS Infrastructure Services and play a crucial role in maintaining the global cloud infrastructure that powers countless innovations. We are the backbone of AWS, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our data centers and the vast array of equipment within them. This is an opportunity to tackle complex challenges alongside a dedicated team of engineers, specialists, and operations managers.

Become part of an inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives and empowers individuals to drive projects to completion. You'll collaborate across AWS teams, contributing to the highest standards of safety and security while optimizing costs for our customers. If you're passionate about infrastructure and thrive in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining robust Linux-based server infrastructures, with a keen focus on reliability and scalability. You'll conduct comprehensive system monitoring, diagnostics, and performance tuning. Furthermore, you will configure and manage essential network hardware, such as switches and routers, including intricate cabling systems. Developing and maintaining effective backup and disaster recovery strategies is also a critical aspect of this role, alongside collaborating with various teams to ensure seamless technological integration.

We require a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Information Technology or Computer Science, coupled with practical experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair. Experience with managing tasks and priorities via a ticketing system is preferred. Familiarity with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies, as well as hands-on experience in a data center environment (including racking and stacking equipment, cable management, and understanding hot/cold aisle containment), will be advantageous. Diverse experiences are highly valued, and we encourage all qualified candidates to apply.
