As a Data Center Operations Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for internal customers, tackling diverse challenges daily. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting advanced hardware issues (servers, storage, networking) 24/7, maintaining high system reliability, and participating in projects to enhance operational efficiencies. You will also share knowledge, train junior staff on best practices, and contribute to building a strong team by participating in the Amazon hiring process.

The role involves daily installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and replacement of server and network hardware components within a ticket-based system for systematic problem resolution. You will work on a rotational, shift-based schedule to ensure high system reliability. Collaboration with internal teams and contributing innovative ideas to improve the data center work environment are crucial. This is a physically active position requiring movement within the onsite data center.
