As a Data Center Technician, you will be the primary technical point of contact, tackling diverse daily challenges. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Troubleshooting advanced hardware issues on servers, storage, and networking equipment around the clock. - Upholding high standards for system reliability and availability. - Contributing to projects aimed at improving operational efficiency and sharing knowledge globally. - Mentoring less technical staff on best practices for service owner issues. - Participating in the Amazon hiring process to help build a strong team.

Your day-to-day activities will involve:

- Installing and configuring data center servers and network systems. - Performing installations, troubleshooting, and replacements of internal and external hardware components. - Managing tasks within a ticket-based system for systematic problem resolution. - Working on a rotational shift schedule to ensure continuous system reliability. - Collaborating with internal teams to innovate and enhance the data center environment.

This is a physically active role requiring constant movement within the data center.
