Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a dedicated Data Center Technician to join our growing Infrastructure Operations team. As part of AWS Infrastructure Services, you will be instrumental in the design, planning, delivery, and operation of our global cloud infrastructure.

As a Data Center Technician, you will be the primary contact for internal customers, addressing diverse technical challenges daily.

Key responsibilities include: - Troubleshooting advanced hardware issues on servers, storage, and networking devices 24/7. - Maintaining high levels of system reliability and availability. - Participating in projects to improve operational efficiencies and sharing knowledge globally. - Training less technical staff on best practices for service owner issues. - Contributing to team building through involvement in the Amazon hiring process.

We are looking for individuals with experience in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair. A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.

Preferred qualifications include experience in effective customer interaction during problem resolution and operating efficiently under pressure. Familiarity with managing work and priorities through a ticketing system, understanding cabling infrastructure best practices, and hands-on experience in a data center environment (including racking/stacking gear, cable management, and hot/cold aisle containment) are highly beneficial.
