As a Data Centre Operations Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for internal customers, addressing diverse daily challenges.

Key responsibilities include: - Troubleshooting advanced hardware issues across servers, storage, and networking on a 24/7 basis. - Maintaining exceptional system reliability and availability. - Contributing to projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, sharing expertise globally. - Mentoring and training less technical staff on best practices for service owner issues. - Assisting in the Amazon hiring process and conducting candidate interviews to build a strong team.

Daily work involves installing and configuring data center servers and network systems. You will troubleshoot and replace internal and external hardware components for servers and network devices.

Effectively manage work within a ticket-based system for systematic problem resolution. This role operates on a rotational shift schedule to ensure high system reliability.

Collaborate with internal teams, sharing ideas and contributing to innovative projects that improve the data center work environment and overall efficiencies. Be prepared for a physically active role that requires constant movement on-site.
