As a Data Center Operations Engineer, you'll be the key point of contact for internal customers, tackling diverse technical challenges daily. Your core duties will involve:

- Troubleshooting advanced hardware issues across servers, storage, and networking equipment on a 24/7 basis. - Maintaining exceptional system reliability and availability. - Participating in projects to boost operational efficiency and sharing expertise globally. - Mentoring less technical staff on best practices for service owner issues. - Contributing to team growth by assisting in the Amazon hiring and interview process.

Your daily activities will include installing and configuring data center servers and network systems. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and replacing internal and external hardware components for servers and network devices. Working within a ticket-based system to resolve issues systematically is essential.

This role requires working on a rotational shift schedule to ensure high system uptime. Collaboration with internal teams to share innovative ideas for improving the data center work environment and overall efficiency is encouraged.
