As an Operations Technician, you'll be instrumental in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting sophisticated hardware, including servers and network components. This position involves hands-on work with physical infrastructure, including the manual installation and movement of server racks. While the role can be physically demanding, it's ideal for individuals passionate about working with advanced computer hardware and contributing to critical infrastructure.

Your primary responsibilities will include installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining hardware such as servers and their components, alongside server software. You will also manage the configuration of complex network elements like routers, switches, and hubs. A key aspect of the role involves addressing network protocols and participating in project teams for larger installations, including developing contingency plans.

You'll deploy and operate new data center infrastructure across various projects, monitor for issues, and perform diagnostic troubleshooting on equipment and infrastructure. This includes performing repairs and preventative maintenance on servers and machines, adhering to strict security policies and operational procedures. Flexibility to work in shifts is also a requirement to align with operational schedules.

We are seeking candidates with a solid foundation in Linux Administration, network infrastructure, and hardware/operating systems. Experience in technical support operations, network diagnostics, and project management is essential.

Preferred qualifications include demonstrated experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems, computer hardware, and server hardware. Familiarity with networking protocols, Linux environments, teamwork, and operations management is highly valued. The ability to work non-standard hours, including weekends, holidays, and shift-based schedules, is also a plus for this role.
