As a Data Center Operations Technician, you will be the primary point of contact for internal customers, tackling diverse technical challenges daily. Key responsibilities include:

- Troubleshooting advanced hardware issues on servers, storage, and networking devices, ensuring 24/7 system reliability and availability. - Participating in projects to improve operational efficiencies and sharing expertise with a global network of technical professionals. - Training less technical staff on best practices for service owner issues. - Contributing to team growth by assisting in the Amazon hiring process and conducting candidate interviews.

A typical day involves installing and configuring data center servers and network systems, alongside troubleshooting and replacing internal and external hardware components. You will work within a ticket-based system to resolve issues systematically.

This role requires adherence to a rotational shift schedule to maintain high system reliability and physical activity, as you will be consistently on the move within the data center environment.
