As a Data Centre Operations Tech, you will be the central point of contact for internal customers, facing diverse challenges daily. Your key duties will include:

- Diagnosing and resolving technical issues on advanced hardware, including servers, storage, and networking equipment, on a 24/7 schedule. - Maintaining optimal system reliability and availability. - Contributing to projects focused on enhancing operational efficiencies, sharing insights with a global network of technical experts. - Mentoring less technical staff on best practices for service owner issues. - Assisting in the Amazon hiring process through candidate interviews, helping to build a strong team.

To excel in this role, you should possess:

- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field. - Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing computer hardware. - Demonstrated ability to handle customer interactions effectively during problem resolution and to operate efficiently under pressure. - Familiarity with managing tasks and priorities using a ticketing system. - Experience working within a data center environment, including racking and stacking equipment, cable management, and understanding hot/cold aisle containment principles.
