As a Data Center Manager in India, you will oversee the world's largest cloud computing infrastructure. You will tackle complex technical challenges daily, innovating solutions to drive operational excellence. Your responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing engineering teams, providing technical and leadership guidance to ensure peak performance. - Maintaining existing co-located and in-house data centers. - Contributing to the build and launch of new data center facilities. - Continuously refining all processes and procedures to enhance efficiency. - Managing relationships with external vendors and contractors. - Liaising effectively with internal teams and management groups. - Ensuring adherence to and exceeding local Health & Safety standards across all data centers. - Developing and utilizing data center metrics to drive positive operational changes. - Assisting in the implementation of service methodologies such as incident, problem, and change management.
We seek a proven manager with a track record of leading high-performing teams and optimizing operational processes. Experience in Data Center environments, either in construction or management, is essential, along with strong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
A passion for technology and a commitment to daily excellence are key. Candidates should demonstrate significant people management experience, including growing and developing teams, and handling both high and low performing employees, with skills in conflict management. A deep understanding of incident management, including high severity situations and their wider implications, is required, along with experience in change and fault management.
Effective vendor management, including conflict resolution, is crucial. The ability to analyze and improve both effective and ineffective processes, with experience in process mapping and remediation, is expected. A strong focus on Health & Safety and the ability to positively influence safety culture are paramount. A Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM field is required, or equivalent experience.
