As a Data Center Manager, you will lead and develop engineering teams, offering technical and leadership expertise to ensure peak performance.
Key responsibilities include maintaining existing data centers, assisting in the launch of new facilities, and continuously refining operational processes and procedures.
You will manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, liaise effectively with internal teams and management, and rigorously ensure adherence to and exceeding of Health & Safety standards.
Furthermore, you will create and maintain performance metrics to drive positive changes and assist in implementing service methodologies like incident, problem, change, and capacity management.
We seek a proven manager with a strong track record in leading high-performing teams and optimizing operational excellence. Your experience should include refining processes to enhance efficiency and driving performance to meet the demands of operating data centers in India.
Previous hands-on experience in data center construction or management is essential, along with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors.
A genuine passion for technology and a commitment to achieving excellence in your role are crucial. You should possess at least 7 years of operations management experience, including significant experience in major facilities incident management and leading process improvements.
Ideally, you will have managed technical teams for over 5 years, with proven experience in developing engineers and building successful teams. A Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM field is preferred, alongside experience in project management and knowledge of Agile, Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies.
