As a Data Center Manager in India, you will play a pivotal role in managing our expansive operations, tackling complex challenges, and driving operational excellence.

As a Data Center Manager, you will lead and develop high-performing engineering teams, providing both technical guidance and leadership. You will be responsible for maintaining existing data centers and contributing to the build-out of new facilities. A key aspect of your role will involve continuously refining our processes and procedures, aiming for perpetual improvement. You will also manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, and liaise effectively with internal management groups.
Ensuring strict adherence to and exceeding local Health & Safety standards will be paramount. You will develop and utilize metrics to drive positive changes across all data center operations. Additionally, you will assist in implementing essential service methodologies, including incident, problem, change, and capacity management, to ensure seamless operations.
We are seeking a proven manager with a strong track record in managing high-performing technical teams, ideally consisting of at least five individuals for a minimum of three years. You should demonstrate the ability to enhance team performance and experience in building or growing teams. Proficiency in handling both high and low performing employees, alongside effective conflict management skills, will be advantageous.
Extensive experience in managing high-severity incidents, understanding their broader implications, and demonstrating expertise in Change Management and Fault Management is crucial. You must possess proven experience in vendor management, including problem and conflict resolution with external parties. A demonstrated ability to improve both functional and underperforming processes, utilizing techniques like process mapping and remediation, is essential. Familiarity with Kaizen, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
Basic qualifications include over 4 years of data center engineering or operations experience, coupled with 3+ years of experience managing technical teams. Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication abilities are fundamental. While a Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM field is preferred, equivalent experience may be considered.
