As a Data Center Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing both technical and leadership guidance to ensure peak performance. Your responsibilities will include maintaining existing data centers, contributing to the build-out of new facilities, and continuously refining processes and procedures for maximum efficiency.

You will also be instrumental in managing relationships with external vendors and contractors, liaising effectively with internal teams, and upholding stringent Health & Safety standards across all data centers. A key aspect of this role involves creating and utilizing metrics to drive positive operational changes and assisting in the implementation of service methodologies such as incident, problem, and capacity management.

We are looking for a proven manager with at least 4 years of data center engineering or operations experience and a minimum of 3 years managing technical teams. Essential skills include strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication. The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive experience in people management, including developing engineers, building successful teams, and handling conflict resolution.

Significant experience with high-severity incident management, change management, and fault management is crucial. You should also possess a strong background in vendor management, process improvement, and positively influencing safety culture. A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related STEM field is preferred, alongside knowledge of Agile methods and Lean/Kaizen/Six Sigma concepts.
