We are seeking a Data Center Logistics Specialist to manage the critical flow of materials and equipment within our state-of-the-art data centers. As a Logistics Specialist, you will meticulously manage the daily movement of materials and inventory, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure seamless support for our internal customers. Key responsibilities include maintaining precise records of all incoming and outgoing commodities, managing and updating inventory levels accurately, and processing parts requests. You will also be responsible for arranging, scheduling, and supporting shipments across various sites, unpacking shipments, and verifying contents.

Your role extends to proactively identifying opportunities for process, inventory, efficiency, and cost improvements within our logistics operations. A critical aspect involves maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in all areas. This position requires a commitment to safety and the ability to adapt priorities effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in logistics, focusing on inventory cycle counts, shipment coordination, stock control, and reverse logistics functions. A strong understanding of shipping and receiving, inventory management, and warehousing practices is preferred.

This role involves significant physical activity, including the ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach, walk, and stand for extended periods. You will also use your hands and fingers to handle objects, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. It is essential to be comfortable working in potentially noisy environments and being exposed to varying temperatures.

Additional requirements include data entry proficiency, maintaining metrics dashboards and spreadsheets, creating reports for stakeholders, supporting inventory accuracy through reconciliation, assembling and preparing materials for shipment, and assisting with the daily scheduling of deliveries and pickups. On-call duties may be required on a rotating basis. Candidates must be willing to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
