We're seeking an engineering operations engineer to manage the mechanical and electrical infrastructure of our data centers in India. This role involves ensuring the seamless operation of critical systems, managing incidents and changes, and overseeing vendor relationships.

Take ownership of all data center changes, incidents, and problems, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and resolution. Plan and execute maintenance for critical facility infrastructure, managing asset and inventory.

Develop and maintain essential documentation like standard operating procedures and emergency response plans. Drive standardization and implement best-in-class operating practices. Gain in-depth knowledge of data center systems, operational alternatives, and contingency plans.

Manage financial aspects, code compliance, personnel development, and safety protocols. Develop engineering reports and ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs. Communicate operational strategies and expectations effectively to internal teams and vendors.

Provide hands-on support for equipment installation, decommissioning, and replacement. Oversee technical compliance audits and manage energy/environmental programs. Stay updated on data center industry innovations.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, is preferred, alongside 2+ years of relevant engineering experience or an equivalent combination of education and operational experience.

Preferred qualifications include 2+ years of direct data center engineering experience and 1+ year in mission-critical facilities. Experience with electrical or mechanical systems is also highly valued. This role requires on-call availability and potential for scheduled weekend work and rotational shifts to ensure 24x7 operations.
