The Data Center Engineering Operations Engineer ensures all critical electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems within the data center operate within established parameters. Key responsibilities include risk assessment and mitigation, performing corrective and preventative maintenance on critical infrastructure, managing vendors, and generating metric reports.

You will oversee on-site contractor, sub-contractor, and vendor activities, ensuring compliance with procedures and local laws. Developing performance benchmarks, conducting analyses, and reporting on facility infrastructure operations and maintenance are essential. Collaboration with DCO managers and business leaders is crucial for coordinating projects, managing capacity, and optimizing safety, performance, reliability, sustainability, and efficiency.

This role also supports the installation of racks and the provisioning of power and cooling for data center infrastructure.

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in data center engineering or operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, is essential.

Preferred qualifications include 10+ years of data center engineering or operations experience, holding an operating engineering license such as DC II, DC III, or equivalent, and demonstrated experience in operations and on-call support for data center facilities, mission-critical plants, or production facilities.
