Key responsibilities include end-to-end ownership of data center changes, events, incidents, and problems, ensuring thorough post-mortems and root cause analysis. You will oversee the planning and execution of maintenance for critical facility infrastructure, manage asset and inventory, and develop comprehensive technical documentation, including method statements and SOPs. Developing a deep understanding of data center systems, managing engineering aspects related to financial control, regulatory compliance, and staff development are also vital. This role involves managing energy and environmental programs, communicating operating philosophies, and providing hands-on facility support. You will also perform technical compliance audits and manage the closure of corrective action plans, while staying current with industry innovations.

To excel in this role, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required, along with at least 4 years of relevant experience in data center or critical environment operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, is essential. Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of experience in data center or mission-critical facilities, an operating engineering license (e.g., DC II, DC III), and experience with operations and on-call support for such environments.
