Take full ownership of Data Center changes, events, incidents, and problems, including post-mortems and root cause analysis. Oversee the planning and execution of maintenance and repairs for critical facility infrastructure. Manage asset and inventory, and develop comprehensive standard operating procedures and technical documentation. Ensure operational consistency with best-in-class practices and gain deep knowledge of data center system design and contingency plans.

Manage the financial and cost control aspects of data center engineering, ensuring compliance with regulations and codes. Lead personnel management, staff training, and development initiatives. Uphold health and safety standards, local statutory requirements, and environmental/energy management practices. Deliver regular engineering reports, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs. Communicate operational philosophies and technical information effectively to Amazon personnel and vendor teams. Provide hands-on support for equipment installation, decommissioning, and replacement. Oversee technical compliance audits and manage the development of energy/environmental management programs, staying current with industry innovations.

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a data center or critical environment is required. Additionally, 3+ years of experience in data center engineering or operations is necessary. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is essential.

Preferred qualifications include 4+ years of data center engineering or operations experience, along with prior experience in electrical or mechanical engineering. We value diverse experiences and encourage applications even if you don't meet every preferred qualification.
