Oversee all Data Center changes, events, incidents, and problems, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and follow-up actions. Plan and execute maintenance and repairs for critical facility infrastructure to align with business interests. Manage asset and inventory, and develop comprehensive technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and emergency response plans.

Develop deep expertise in Data Center systems, operational alternatives, and contingency plans. Manage engineering aspects related to financial control, compliance, personnel development, and health & safety. Create and deliver engineering reports, ensuring adherence to SLAs and KPIs. Communicate operational philosophies and technical information effectively to internal teams and external vendors.

Provide hands-on support for equipment installation and decommissioning. Oversee technical compliance audits and the closure of corrective action plans. Manage the development and delivery of energy and environmental management programs, staying current with industry innovations. Respond to and manage incidents, coordinating with vendors and potentially dispatching to sites for resolution.

A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a data center or other critical environment is required, alongside 3+ years in data center engineering or operations. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is essential.

Preferred qualifications include 4+ years of data center engineering or operations experience, and specific experience in electrical or mechanical engineering. We are looking for individuals who can manage on-site contractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to practices and local legislation. You will establish performance benchmarks, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on facility operations and maintenance.

This role involves working with various teams to coordinate projects, manage capacity, and optimize plant safety, performance, reliability, sustainability, and efficiency. Responsibilities also include supporting rack installations and the provision of power and cooling. A proactive approach to troubleshooting facility and rack-level events within SLAs is expected, along with performing rack installations and decommissioning.
