NTT DATA is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect Lead Advisor to join our team in Bangalore. This role is pivotal in defining and governing end-to-end solution architectures for cloud-based data, analytics, and AI platforms. You will leverage your expertise in Databricks, AWS, and Infrastructure-as-Code to ensure scalable, secure, and business-aligned solutions.

This is an opportunity to lead technical design across critical areas including data integration, governance, and security. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, analysts, data engineers, and project leadership to translate complex business needs into robust technical implementations.

Key responsibilities include defining comprehensive architectures for Databricks-based solutions and designing scalable data platforms utilizing AWS services and the Databricks Lakehouse. You will produce essential architecture artifacts, solution blueprints, and detailed technical design documents, ensuring all solutions adhere to enterprise architecture and governance standards.

Additionally, you will provide strong technical leadership to engineering and project teams, conduct architecture workshops and design reviews, and establish best practices for data engineering, DevOps, and platform operations. You will also play a crucial role in reviewing and approving key technical deliverables and defining Infrastructure-as-Code standards with Terraform.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 8 years of experience in solution or technical architecture roles, specifically in delivering large-scale cloud data platforms. Essential expertise includes Databricks architecture, AWS architecture, and Terraform with Infrastructure-as-Code. A solid understanding of data warehousing, lakehouse, analytics, and AI/ML architectures is required.

Strong experience in facilitating architecture and stakeholder workshops is also necessary. Technical skills should encompass Databricks, AWS, Terraform, Data Lakehouse Architecture, CI/CD, DevOps practices, security and governance frameworks, SQL, and data modelling. Familiarity with Unity Catalog, Azure DevOps or GitHub, Kafka/Event Streaming, AI/ML Platforms, and Data Mesh concepts is desirable.
