Join our team as an EAG Security Consultant specializing in Data Security, empowering enterprise clients to discover, classify, protect, and govern sensitive data across Microsoft 365, Microsoft Purview, endpoints, cloud services, and AI-driven workflows. This role blends hands-on Purview expertise with consulting acumen, regulatory insight, and secure AI adoption strategies. You'll work to minimize data exposure risks, enhance Data Loss Prevention (DLP) effectiveness, prepare clients for Copilot and agents, and contribute to developing reusable intellectual property for our EAG Security practice.

This position is open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until filled.

Lead data security discovery workshops to understand sensitive data landscapes, regulatory drivers, and current Purview adoption challenges, including AI/Copilot readiness. Design and implement Microsoft Purview Information Protection, configuring sensitivity labels, encryption, auto-labeling, and user adoption controls. Configure and tune Data Loss Prevention (DLP) across Microsoft 365, endpoints, cloud apps, and AI workflows. Assess Insider Risk Management, eDiscovery, Audit, and Data Lifecycle Management to enhance investigation readiness and governance. Apply DSPM and data-security-for-AI patterns to identify risks and gaps before AI deployment. Support Data Protection Agents and Purview agent scenarios for data discovery, DLP triage, and regulatory mapping. Create executive-level deliverables such as posture baselines, risk registers, and remediation roadmaps.

Requires a minimum of 5 years in cybersecurity, information protection, DLP, data governance, or related security consulting. Demonstrated hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview Information Protection and DLP in Microsoft 365 environments. Proficiency in sensitive information types, classification strategies, sensitivity labels, DLP rules, alert triage, and policy tuning. Ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into implementable Microsoft Purview controls and design documentation. Understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance workloads, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, endpoints, Defender for Cloud Apps, audit, and eDiscovery. Strong analytical skills for interpreting policy exports, telemetry, and Purview reports. Excellent communication skills for technical workshops, executive briefings, and cross-functional collaboration.
