As a Data & AI Consultant, your primary focus will be delivering high-quality data and AI solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform, achieving measurable business outcomes for clients. You will also cultivate strong, senior-level client relationships and collaborate effectively with Microsoft and client stakeholders to ensure solution success.
Key responsibilities include adapting to modern technologies, demonstrating teamwork to meet individual billable goals, and maintaining a client-centric approach with proactive collaboration. You will actively contribute to and consume best practices, lessons learned, and intellectual property within the global Microsoft community to drive continuous improvement.
Effective management of time, projects, and priorities is essential. You will also be expected to showcase excellent communication, presentation, and written skills, adeptly managing customer and partner relationships and expectations.
We are seeking candidates with a robust technical background, including over 10 years of technology experience, with a minimum of 4 years specifically dedicated to delivering data and AI solutions on Microsoft Azure. Expertise in AWS or GCP is considered an advantage.
Deep functional knowledge is required across several key areas:
Data Platform & Engineering: Designing and implementing modern data platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL), building scalable data pipelines (Azure Data Factory, Event Hubs, Stream Analytics), understanding Lakehouse and medallion architectures, data modeling, query optimization, and migrating legacy systems. Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, and Azure DevOps is essential.
AI & Machine Learning: Developing generative AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and agentic patterns like RAG. Experience with Azure Machine Learning, MLOps, Azure AI Search, Document Intelligence, Cognitive Services, and Responsible AI practices is crucial. Familiarity with Copilot extensibility is a plus.
Governance, Security & Analytics: Implementing data governance with Microsoft Purview, securing data and AI workloads using Microsoft Entra ID and Azure security services, and leveraging Power BI for enterprise reporting. Cost management and platform optimization skills are also expected.
Candidates will be expected to obtain relevant Microsoft certifications within their first year, such as DP-900, AI-900, DP-700, AI-102, and DP-600, if not already held.
