This Senior PIM Developer role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining Product Information Management (PIM) solutions. The position emphasizes robust product data governance, effective catalog enrichment, and seamless integration with key commerce platforms like Adobe Commerce and VTEX, as well as ERP, OMS, and other enterprise systems. Success in this role demands profound expertise in PIM tools, sophisticated data modeling techniques, and multi-channel product syndication strategies.

Key responsibilities include designing and configuring PIM data models, encompassing product attributes, attribute sets, families, categories, and taxonomy structures. You will implement and maintain PIM platforms, managing workflows, rules, and data quality checks. Integrating PIM with downstream systems such as commerce platforms, ERP, OMS, CMS, and DAM via APIs or ETL pipelines is crucial.

This role also involves governing product data quality by defining completeness rules and validation workflows. You will manage multi-channel catalog publishing, mapping and syndicating product data across various channels. Optimizing data synchronization pipelines for performance and reliability, and troubleshooting data discrepancies are also key duties. Furthermore, you will contribute to architectural discussions, perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.

A strong foundation in PIM is essential, requiring hands-on experience with platforms like Akeneo, InRiver, or Salsify. You must possess a deep understanding of product data modeling, including attribute families, completeness metrics, variant/SKU hierarchies, and category trees. Proven experience in building PIM-to-Commerce integrations with platforms such as Adobe Commerce, VTEX, or Salesforce Commerce is necessary.

Proficiency in utilizing REST/GraphQL APIs for data ingestion and syndication is required. Experience integrating with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics for managing pricing, inventory, and product master data is also a must-have. Desirable skills include experience with catalog APIs, DAM systems, ETL tools, an understanding of B2B catalog scenarios, and familiarity with data governance frameworks and MDM concepts.
