As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, you will drive the technical vision and architectural design for bespoke software solutions. This leadership role involves guiding engineering teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design to successful delivery. You will establish robust development standards, ensuring high code quality, system scalability, and optimal performance that aligns precisely with business objectives.

Your daily activities will include collaborating with diverse stakeholders to champion project success and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This position demands a proactive approach to innovation and problem-solving within a dynamic project environment.

Key responsibilities include installing, configuring, and administering the 3DEXPERIENCE platform across various environments (development, testing, production) hosted on-premises or in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will manage user accounts, roles, licenses, and access controls for secure platform operation.

Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and conducting regular health checks are crucial for ensuring high availability. You will coordinate platform upgrades, patches, and migrations, while maintaining comprehensive documentation of system configurations and operational workflows. Proactively identifying and resolving system bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and integration challenges is also a core part of this role.

A strong foundation in End-to-End 3DEXPERIENCE Platform Administration (R2023x+) is essential, including setup, configuration, patching, and upgrading environments. You must be adept at troubleshooting performance, search, and stability issues across services like ENOVIA, CATIA, SIMULIA, and 3DSpace.

Expertise in Infrastructure & System Operations, including managing OS (Windows/Linux), databases (SQL Server/Oracle), and app servers (Tomcat/Apache), is required. Proficiency in Security, Access & Network Management, such as integrating LDAP/AD/SSO, configuring firewalls, SSL/TLS, and load balancers, is also necessary.

Experience with Automation, Deployment & Source Control using scripting languages (Python/PowerShell/Shell) and CI/CD pipelines is vital. The ability to design, test, and execute Disaster Recovery & Platform Resilience plans is also a key requirement. A minimum of 3 years of experience is mandatory, with a preference for 2-4 years of hands-on experience administering the 3DEXPERIENCE platform in an enterprise setting. Certification in 3DEXPERIENCE administration is considered a plus.
