This role is for a Custom Software Engineering Lead, focusing on Advanced Application Engineering within a full-time capacity, requiring 8-10 years of specialized experience.

Drive the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions, leading teams through the design and delivery lifecycle. You will set development standards and ensure code quality, scalability, and performance are aligned with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include technical leadership in designing and implementing the core architecture of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform across ENOVIA and 3DSpace. This involves leading development and reviews of server-side customizations (JPO, MQL, triggers, services, TCL) and client-side components (web services), leveraging strong Dassault Systèmes product expertise to deliver PLM solutions. Defining and enforcing technical standards for customization, integration, performance, and security is crucial, alongside conducting technical and code reviews, and performing platform performance tuning. Planning and executing platform upgrades, including thorough regression testing and compatibility validation, is also a core function.

Possess a minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience with the Dassault Systèmes 3DEXPERIENCE platform in enterprise settings. Expertise in ENOVIA customization is a must. Strong proficiency in the 3DEXPERIENCE/ENOVIA platform architecture, data model, webservices, lifecycles, maturity states, and access control is required.

Demonstrated hands-on experience with 3DEXPERIENCE APIs and services such as ENOVIA and 3DSpace is essential. A solid understanding of RESTful APIs, event-driven/asynchronous integrations, and data handling within the 3DEXPERIENCE ecosystem is necessary. Significant experience in server-side customization using Java (JPOs, services, triggers) and scripting with MQL/TCL is expected.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, Git, Jira, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps is important. Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging complex platform, integration, and data-related issues is vital. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, coupled with excellent communication, documentation, and technical leadership abilities, are paramount for this role. Knowledge of XPDM and EKL is a plus.
