This role focuses on developing custom software solutions, coding, and enhancing system components. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions. The position involves designing, configuring, and enhancing SAP Materials Management (MM) processes, leveraging AI-assisted development tools. This accelerates tasks like requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and problem resolution, ensuring streamlined procurement, inventory management, and supplier collaboration.

Pre-built AI capabilities will be integrated to boost productivity without requiring deep involvement in LLM development. The goal is to deliver faster, more accurate SAP MM solutions, improve procurement transparency, supplier coordination, and inventory accuracy. This role acts as a bridge between procurement teams, SAP engineering, and AI specialists.

Configure and optimize SAP MM processes including Procure to Pay (P2P), Purchase Requisition/Order Management, Source List & Quota Arrangements, Vendor Management, Inventory Management, Reservations & Movements, Material Master Data, and Release Strategies & Pricing.

Utilize AI copilots to generate functional specifications, validate configuration logic, create high-quality test cases, and automate key documentation. Support end-to-end delivery, from requirements gathering to hypercare, and integrate MM with SD, FI, PP, QM, and external supplier systems using standard APIs, IDocs, and middleware.

Apply AI tools to accelerate requirement interpretation, process design, material and vendor data validation, error diagnostics, test creation, and document generation. Integrate pre-built AI services for automated material classification, predictive signals, and intelligent summarization of procurement exceptions. Employ LLM-assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution time.

Ensure compliance with procurement governance and audit policies. Participate in workshops and process optimization discussions supported by AI-generated insights. Collaborate with various teams to deliver cohesive MM solutions and contribute reusable templates, checklists, and AI-augmented best practices.

Requires a strong understanding of SAP MM, including P2P processes, purchasing document flows, vendor evaluation, and inventory management. Experience configuring material master, vendor master, PO/PR processing, goods movements, and release strategies is essential.

Familiarity with integration across SD, FI, PP, and QM, as well as knowledge of IDocs, outputs, pricing procedures, and common MM troubleshooting patterns, is expected. Hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-powered documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing accelerators is crucial.

Demonstrate the ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into MM workflows for automation and insight generation, alongside an understanding of responsible AI usage and its limitations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in procurement scenarios, the ability to translate business requirements into SAP MM configurations, and clear communication skills are vital. A continuous learning mindset and comfort with adopting AI-enabled productivity tools are also necessary.
