As a Custom Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web parts and extensions. - Building responsive user interfaces using React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS. - Integrating SharePoint solutions with Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, and third-party services. - Customizing SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, and modern pages. - Packaging, deploying, and managing SPFx solutions via Azure DevOps/GitHub pipelines. - Troubleshooting, optimizing, and maintaining SharePoint applications. - Collaborating effectively with business stakeholders and development teams to deliver superior solutions.
To excel in this role, a strong foundation in Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online Development and SPFx is essential.
You should possess robust experience with:
- SharePoint Framework (SPFx) - React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS - SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Graph API - SharePoint REST APIs and PnP JS - Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD practices - Agile development methodologies
Familiarity with Azure AD authentication and Azure Functions is a significant advantage. The role requires a minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years specifically in SharePoint and 5 to 6 years of overall IT experience. A full-time education spanning 15 years is also a prerequisite.
