As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge software solutions. This role involves designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems and applications.

You will leverage modern frameworks and agile methodologies to create scalable, high-performing solutions perfectly tailored to meet specific business demands. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience and a full-time education spanning 15 years.

Configure and enhance core SAP FI functionalities, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. Translate complex business requirements into robust SAP configurations, utilizing AI copilots to streamline analysis and documentation processes.

Support the entire project lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Integrate SAP FI with other SAP modules like MM, SD, CO, AA, and external systems using standard integration patterns and APIs.

Utilize AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configurations, generating test scripts, performing impact analysis, and creating comprehensive documentation. Apply pre-built AI services for tasks such as anomaly detection and intelligent validations to improve financial processes. Leverage AI tools for financial data interpretation, error diagnosis, and accelerated issue resolution.

Ensure adherence to SDLC, audit controls, finance governance, data accuracy, and system performance standards. Conduct workshops, solution walkthroughs, testing cycles, and troubleshooting sessions enhanced by AI-driven insights. Collaborate effectively with finance users, functional and technical teams, and cross-module stakeholders to deliver aligned, high-quality solutions. Contribute to the development of reusable templates, checklists, documentation patterns, and best practices for AI-assisted development.

A strong understanding of SAP FI S/4HANA processes is essential, including the Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting (AA), Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation and compliance. Experience integrating SAP FI with CO, MM, and SD modules is required.

Demonstrate hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation tools, and AI-driven testing. Possess a solid understanding of AI concepts, its limitations, responsible AI usage, and the practical application of pre-built AI services. Ability to use AI for analysis, validation, test generation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution is crucial.

Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to finance processes and data. Exhibit clear communication skills and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams. Be capable of translating business requirements into well-structured SAP finance solutions. Maintain a continuous learning mindset and comfort with adopting AI-enabled workflows.
