Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer focused on Packaged Application Development. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage modern frameworks and agile practices to build scalable, high-performing software solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will be instrumental in designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems and applications.

This position emphasizes the integration of AI-assisted development tools and copilots to enhance financial process analysis, configuration, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting within SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting. The role focuses on quality delivery and AI-enabled productivity, without requiring deep model development or advanced LLM/RAG engineering.

Configure and enhance core SAP FI components, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. Translate business requirements into scalable SAP configurations, utilizing AI copilots to accelerate analysis and documentation.

Support end-to-end delivery, encompassing requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Integrate SAP FI with other SAP modules (MM, SD, CO, AA) and external systems via standard integration patterns/APIs.

Employ AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configuration, generating test scripts, conducting impact analysis, and creating documentation. Apply pre-built AI services for anomaly detection, forecasting, and intelligent validations to optimize finance processes. Utilize AI tools for financial data interpretation, error diagnosis, and accelerated issue resolution.

Ensure adherence to SDLC, audit controls, finance governance, data accuracy, and system performance standards. Conduct workshops, solution walkthroughs, testing cycles, and troubleshooting sessions informed by AI-enhanced insights. Collaborate effectively with finance users, functional teams, technical teams, and cross-module stakeholders to deliver aligned, high-quality solutions. Contribute to reusable templates, checklists, documentation patterns, and AI-assisted development best practices.

A strong understanding of SAP FI S/4HANA processes is essential, including the Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting (AA), Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation & Compliance. Experience integrating FI with CO, MM, and SD modules is required.

Hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation tools, and AI-driven testing is necessary. A foundational understanding of AI concepts, limitations, responsible AI usage, and the practical application of pre-built AI services is expected. Proficiency in using AI for analysis, validation, test generation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution is key.
