This role involves developing custom software solutions, designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems and applications. You'll utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

The position focuses on leveraging AI-assisted development tools and copilots to accelerate requirement analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and issue resolution within SAP Production Planning (PP) for discrete manufacturing environments. The objective is to enhance production planning, shop floor execution, and material staging processes, with the integration of pre-built AI services where beneficial.

Configure and support SAP PP processes, including Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Production Orders & Execution, Routings, Work Centers & BOM Management, Capacity Planning & Scheduling, Backflushing & Costing Integration, and Goods Movements & Shop floor Reporting.

Utilize AI copilots to accelerate functional specification creation, routing/BOM validation, test case generation for MRP and order creation, and documentation automation. Support the full lifecycle delivery from requirements to hypercare.

Integrate PP with MM, QM, SD, FI/CO, and shop floor systems (MES), leveraging standard APIs and middleware. Employ AI copilots for automated summarization of requirements, analysis of MRP exceptions, validation of order execution, and faster defect isolation.

Integrate pre-built AI services into production workflows for predictive insights, intelligent classification of production issues, automated summarization of batch deviations, and smart suggestions based on historical performance. Use LLM-assisted troubleshooting to analyze exceptions and failures more efficiently.

A strong understanding of SAP PP within discrete manufacturing is essential, encompassing BOM/routing management, production order cycles, capacity planning, scheduling, and MRP. Experience integrating with MM, QM, SD, and FI/CO is required, along with familiarity in order confirmations, settlements, and shop floor data capture.

Candidates must be proficient in using AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted test accelerators. The role requires comfort in embedding pre-built AI capabilities into production planning, not custom model building, and an awareness of responsible AI usage limitations.
