As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in delivering efficient Order-to-Cash (O2C) solutions. The role involves integrating pre-built AI services where beneficial, rather than deep AI model development. This position is ideal for individuals eager to contribute to cutting-edge technology solutions within a dynamic environment.

Configure and optimize SAP SD components, including Order Management, Pricing, Delivery, Billing, Credit Management, and Returns. Utilize AI copilots to draft functional specifications, validate pricing logic, automate test case generation, and expedite documentation creation. Support end-to-end implementation cycles from requirements gathering to post-go-live support. Integrate SAP SD with other modules like MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM, and external systems via standard APIs and middleware.

Apply AI-enabled tools to accelerate process analysis, pricing issue diagnostics, impact analysis, test planning, and documentation automation. Incorporate pre-built AI features into SD workflows for automated exception detection and intelligent order classification. Employ LLM-assisted troubleshooting during incidents to reduce resolution times. Ensure solutions adhere to organizational SDLC practices, audit controls, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end O2C alignment and contribute reusable best practices enhanced by AI.

A strong understanding of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) processes, including O2C workflows, order creation, ATP, shipping, billing, credit checks, and pricing procedures, is essential. Experience with SD/FI and SD/MM integrations, along with cross-module dependencies, is required. Familiarity with master data (customer, material, pricing, credit), IDocs, outputs, and common SD troubleshooting steps is also necessary.

Hands-on experience with AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing/analysis tools is crucial. The ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into SD process flows is expected, along with an understanding of responsible AI usage and its limitations in commercial workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in O2C scenarios, coupled with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP SD configurations, are vital. Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders are also key for success in this role.
