This position is ideal for a seasoned Senior Data Architect with over 10 years of experience, tasked with leading a significant transformation of our SAP BW/BW4HANA data warehouse into a state-of-the-art Azure Databricks Lakehouse platform. Your expertise will be crucial in defining the future architecture, strategizing the migration, establishing robust data governance, and guiding engineering teams through this modernization.

Develop and enhance custom software components across various systems and applications. Lead the migration and modernization of SAP BW to an Azure Databricks Lakehouse architecture. Design scalable Lakehouse architectures utilizing Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture principles. Build and optimize enterprise-grade data pipelines and integration frameworks. Implement comprehensive DevOps and DevSecOps practices for data platforms. Ensure strong data governance, security, monitoring, performance tuning, and cost optimization. Provide technical leadership and foster collaboration with business, SAP, reporting, and platform teams.

Must have a strong command of Microsoft Azure Databricks. Minimum 3 years of professional experience is required. Possess deep expertise in SAP BW/BW4HANA, Data Engineering, PySpark, SQL, Data Modeling, ETL/ELT, and Azure Cloud services. Demonstrate hands-on experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep), automation, monitoring, and security implementation. A foundational understanding of Data Architecture and SAP BW/4HANA Data Modeling & Development is beneficial. Completion of 15 years of full-time education is a prerequisite for this role.
