As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, coding, and enhancing software components to create bespoke solutions. You'll utilize AI-assisted development tools to expedite financial process analysis, configuration, documentation, testing, and troubleshooting, focusing on integration, quality, and AI-driven productivity.

Key responsibilities include configuring and enhancing core SAP FI modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. You will translate business needs into robust SAP configurations, supported by AI copilots for accelerated analysis and documentation. The role also involves end-to-end delivery support, integration with other SAP modules and external systems, and leveraging AI for drafting specifications, validating configurations, generating test scripts, and performing impact analysis. Additionally, you'll apply pre-built AI services to optimize finance processes and use AI tools for financial data interpretation and issue resolution, while ensuring compliance with SDLC, audit controls, and quality standards. Collaboration with various teams and contribution to reusable assets are also vital aspects of this position.

A strong foundation in SAP FI S/4HANA processes is essential, including expertise in the Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting, Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation. Experience integrating FI with CO, MM, and SD is required. Candidates should have hands-on experience with AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation, and AI-driven testing tools, alongside a practical understanding of AI concepts, limitations, and responsible AI usage. The ability to use AI for analysis, validation, test generation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution is crucial.
