This role focuses on developing and enhancing custom software solutions within SAP Sales and Distribution (SD). You will leverage modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. The position emphasizes utilizing AI-assisted development tools and copilots to accelerate various development lifecycle stages, including analysis, configuration, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.

The primary goal is to deliver efficient Order to Cash (O2C) solutions by integrating pre-built AI services and improving productivity. This role is centered on AI-enabled assistance rather than deep AI model development, RAG, or agentic AI systems.

Key responsibilities include configuring and optimizing SAP SD components such as Order Management, Pricing, Delivery Processing, Billing, Credit Management, and Returns. You will utilize AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating pricing logic, automating test case generation, and accelerating documentation. The role involves supporting end-to-end implementation cycles, integrating SD with other SAP modules (MM, FI, PP, WM/EWM) and external systems.

AI-enabled tools will be applied to accelerate process analysis, pricing issue diagnostics, impact analysis, test planning, and documentation automation. You will also incorporate pre-built AI features into SD workflows, like automated exception detection and intelligent order classification. Additionally, LLM-assisted troubleshooting will be employed to reduce incident resolution times.

A strong understanding of SAP SD processes, including order creation, ATP, shipping, billing, credit checks, and pricing procedures, is essential. Experience with SD/FI and SD/MM integrations, along with an understanding of cross-module dependencies, is required. Knowledge of master data, IDocs, outputs, and common SD troubleshooting steps is also necessary.

Hands-on experience with AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing/analysis tools is critical. The ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into SD process flows, while understanding responsible AI usage and limitations, is also key. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in O2C scenarios, along with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP SD configurations, are expected. Effective communication and collaboration skills are important for working with cross-functional stakeholders.
