As a Custom Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, coding, and enhancing software components across various systems and applications. This role leverages modern frameworks and agile methodologies to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions tailored to specific business requirements. You'll play a key part in developing custom solutions that meet unique client needs.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with AI-assisted development tools and copilots. You will accelerate financial process analysis, configuration, documentation, test creation, and troubleshooting within SAP FI S/4HANA Accounting. The focus is on integration, delivering high-quality results, and enhancing productivity through AI, without the need for in-depth model development or advanced LLM/RAG engineering.

Configure and enhance core SAP FI components, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, Tax, and Financial Closing. Translate intricate business requirements into scalable SAP configurations, utilizing AI copilots to streamline analysis and documentation processes.

Support the entire delivery lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Integrate SAP FI with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, CO, AA, and external systems using standard integration patterns and APIs.

Leverage AI copilots for drafting functional specifications, validating configurations, generating test scripts, performing impact analysis, and creating essential documentation. Apply pre-built AI services, like anomaly detection and intelligent validations, to enhance financial processes. Utilize AI tools for interpreting financial data, diagnosing errors, and achieving faster resolutions.

Ensure adherence to SDLC, audit controls, finance governance, data accuracy, and system performance standards. Conduct workshops, solution walkthroughs, testing cycles, and troubleshooting sessions informed by AI-enhanced insights. Collaborate effectively with finance users, functional and technical teams, and cross-module stakeholders to ensure cohesive, high-quality solutions.

Contribute to the development of reusable templates, checklists, documentation patterns, and best practices for AI-assisted development.

Possess a strong understanding of SAP FI S/4HANA processes, including the Universal Journal, Financial Closing & Reporting, AP/AR Processing, Asset Accounting (AA), Banking & Cash Management, and Taxation/compliance. Demonstrate experience integrating FI with CO, MM, and SD modules.

Gain hands-on experience utilizing AI copilots, LLM-based assistants, automated documentation tools, and AI-driven testing. Understand AI concepts, limitations, responsible AI usage, and the practical application of pre-built AI services, focusing on analysis, validation, test generation, workflow optimization, and issue resolution.

Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities within finance processes and data. Possess clear communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams. Translate business requirements into well-structured SAP finance solutions and maintain a continuous learning mindset, embracing AI-enabled workflows.

A minimum of 2-5 years of experience is required, with a mandatory 15 years of full-time education.
