Join our team as a Custom Software Engineer, focusing on SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) solutions. You will leverage AI-powered tools and copilots to streamline the development and enhancement of SAP SD processes, specifically within the Order to Cash (O2C) cycle. This role emphasizes improving efficiency through AI assistance rather than deep AI model development.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, integrating pre-built AI services to deliver scalable and high-performing software solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will be instrumental in enhancing productivity and ensuring efficient delivery of O2C solutions.

Key responsibilities include configuring and optimizing SAP SD components such as Order Management, Pricing, Delivery, Billing, and Credit Management. You will utilize AI copilots to accelerate the creation of functional specifications, validate pricing logic, and automate test case generation. The role also involves supporting end-to-end implementation cycles, integrating SD with other SAP modules and external systems, and applying AI-enabled tools for process analysis and troubleshooting.

Furthermore, you will incorporate pre-built AI features into SD workflows, like automated exception detection and intelligent order prioritization. You will also apply LLM-assisted troubleshooting to reduce incident resolution times and ensure solutions adhere to organizational SDLC practices and compliance requirements. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to deliver aligned O2C solutions.

A strong understanding of SAP SD and O2C processes, including order creation, ATP, shipping, billing, credit checks, and pricing, is essential. Experience with SD/FI and SD/MM integrations, as well as knowledge of master data and common SD troubleshooting steps, is required. Hands-on experience with AI copilots, automated documentation tools, and AI-assisted testing/analysis tools is a key requirement.

Candidates should demonstrate the ability to integrate pre-built AI capabilities into SD process flows and understand responsible AI usage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to translate business requirements into SAP SD configurations, and effective communication skills are also necessary.
